"Yes, the ride was very successful. We raised $180,000 and those riders
who finished did so well. It was a once in a life time experience in one
of the best riding roads in the country.
6 of the 7 starters took their Ergo seats with them with the intention
of riding in our regular saddles until we ran into trouble
(blisters/numbness). I was one of the few to get the Ergo saddle out
north of Tennant Creek when I developed saddle soreness. I ended up
riding on the Ergo for two days until the inflammation went down and I
went back to gel traditional with sheepskin cover."
Hi Rod,
I thought I would let you know that six of us last week rode the Central Otago Rail Trail - 160km in 3 and a half days. Two of us had Ergo seats and both agree that the seat made all the difference in providing us with a comfortable ride. The seat attracted a lot of interest from other rides on the trail. Guys especially could appreciate the benefits of the design.
